On 31ST March, 2026 the Asante Akim Central Municipal Assembly in collaboration with an individual(Mr. Frank) donated a Power Generator(Plant) to the Health Directorate to be handed over the Hospital.

During the donation exercise the MCE for the Asante Akim Central, Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Frank on behalf of the good people of Asante Akyem Central and Ghana.

MCE stated that when he assumed office, one of the major challenges affecting the Asante Akyem Central Government Hospital at Kwawkrom was the lack of a standby power generator to support operations during power outages. -That he made several efforts and reached out to many well-meaning individuals within the Municipality for assistance.

MCE mentioned that Mr. Frank went above and beyond expectations by generously purchasing a brand new power generator and presenting it to the Health Directorate to support the hospital.

MCE pleaded that the Konongo-Odumasi truly need more individuals like him and humbly encourage everyone to contribute in any way possible towards the growth and development of our Municipality.
